Have a network of two Windows 7 Professional computers, a FreeNAS box and a DIR-685
Storage Router.
Yesterday morning, all four were visible in the Network and Sharing centre.
Later that day, only the two Windows 7 computers are visible.
Both the FreeNAS box, and the DIR-685 are visible as Media devices
and I can play movies from both.
If I open Explorer, and try to access "\\FREENAS", then I can use the contents of the FreeNAS,
so the share seems to be working.
Can access the storage router in the same way.
Since the storage router disappeared at the same time, I think it is a Windows problem,
and not a FreeNAS problem.
Both Win 7 computers will upgrade automatically, so I suspect it is a new Microsoft
ploy, to discourage anything but Windows.
Anyone seen something similar?
