Winbindd Error

Everything works fine with my Samba shares but since a few months I have been constantly getting this error:

Tried a few things in the various (Samba configuration and whatnot) and saw also someone in the past having a similar issue but nothing seems to fix it, I even deleted all my shares (dumb move will have to do everything again now) but no luck at all.

I can send a debug file if needed, again everything seems to be working smoothly, but I'd love to get rid of this message once and for all.

What TrueNAS version?

Version is the latest TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1, not sure when this started to be honest, initial install is dated 2018-09-04 not sure about the version of that release.

It might be caused by the AD health checks in 12.0 / 13.0 branches. Try disabling those alerts via the alerting GUI.

After disabling these alerts you should restart the winbindd service `service winbindd restart` to ensure that you have a fresh schannel connection.

So basically it's probably some bug/conflict that was carried over while updating the system from previous versions ?

I had hope to fix this but I won't be pestering you with this, maybe for 13.0 or whatever I will do a clean installation

The latest Truenas 13.x apparently fixed the "issue" :)
