I had the primary OS drive fail over the weekend and replaced it. I reloaded the OS with a fresh download of 12.0-U2.1 and after the initial login, I reloaded the config from my last backup. Everything "looked good" till I started working on the AD Shares and then all went WACKO!!
From what I can tell, it looks like winbind is the issue, but not exactly sure.
When running a few simple commands...
# wbinfo -u
could not obtain winbind interface details: WBC_ERR_WINBIND_NOT_AVAILABLE
could not obtain winbind domain name!
Error looking up domain users
# service winbindd status
winbindd is not running.
# net ads leave -U ******
Enter ******'s password:
Failed to leave domain: Unable to fetch domain sid: are we joined?
I am so flustered right now that I can not think of all the things I have tried or even need to do, but if y'all could help me get this figured out, it would be greatly appreciated!!
