I have three Win7x64Ultimate client computer attached to FreeNas 8.3.1p2. The computers are networked thru a gigabit switch. Current configuration uses CIFS service. I have mapped the file server and drive letter z to it. However I still get warning from winodws that if I want to run a program from an unknown source. Is there a better way of configuring this client & server configuration so windows would see the mapped drive as a local drive?

ps. I looked at use iscsi, however my understanding is that all clients should not access the same volume at the same time or file corruption could happen. TIA

Why did you post this in the How-To Guide forum when this is obviously not a How-To Guide?
