I upgraded from freenas to truenas some time ago and have smb share issues since.
I have 2 shares on Truenas. Downloads and ML10_Tank.
I have a Win 7 and Win 10 machine that can both access the truenas gui. Both machines can ssh into truenas.
I have to constantly enable/disable smb and acls on truenas as one of the PC's can't cut/move on Downloads.
One PC is in the house, the other outside in the shed. Both have wired connections and same subnet.
I have to stuff around with acls, smb and reboot the server if I want to go to the shed and move files, and vice versa if I head back inside.
Never had an issue of this kind with freenas.
