Will not accept top-level domain for Active Directory

Hi

I am setting up a TrueNAS for the first time. And I am stuck in connecting to the Active Directory.

When I try to connect, I am told that my workgroup (guessing it is talking about the domain), should be without the top-level domain, that is my country code.
Problem is that if I remove that, the credentials will not work for the AD.

I can ping the DC and vice versa.

The Middlewared.log is not showing anything more, than what you see in the screenshot.

Anybody have an idea why?

Thank you

No, WORKGROUP is the old NetBIOS domain. It has nothing to do with the Active Directory domain.

It's under the properties of the SMB Service (look under Services in the GUI).

I see that you can leave it blank if you're using AD:
