Why no breadcrumb navigation in the UI, anymore?

I was about to open a ticket, searched if anything already existed, and found this:

So, simple question: why - that feature was great.

Breadcrumbs were not working well with TrueNAS 12.0 and so we disabled them. We plan to clean them up and re-enable them in SCALE and 12.1
