My specs on the T620 are as follows.
- 32 GB of ECC memory
- Intel Xeon E5-2620 2.00GHz
- PERC H710 Adapter RAID Controller, 512MB NV Cache
- 16 slots 2.5 inch drive bay.
Be aware I am a total newbie to freeness and server hardware. I suspect the H710 isn't compatible with Truenas. Which card should I get so I can boot Truenas and be able to utilise all of the 16 drive bays?
Are there any other way around this using the H710 card? I can install Truenas today on an SSD but I can't choose that SSD to be my bootable drive. I can only choose the RAID card H710 in BIOS boot menu.
