Like many, I was having problems with my plugins working after upgrading to 9.10 So, I uninstalled my plugins and was attempting to delete all traces of them before I re-install. But, I wasn't thinking and started deleting all jails. The system wouldn't allow some files to be deleted, thank the GODS! So, my question is, what jails are required to be installed to keep FreeNAS happy? How can I restore jails that I should not have deleted?

Simply remove the jails dataset in Volume Manager. Note that this will nuke all remaining traces of jails.

...and directly to your question, there are no jails present by default. Any that are there, are there because you put them there yourself.

Perfect! That's what I was hoping for. So, I will delete the jails dataset instead of going into the jails folder and deleting them there. Sorry, again....I wasn't thinking.

Thank you both!

Cheers!
