SOLVED What is the "New Update" email supposed to look like?

I read that when new updates are ready for download the system will send out an email notification.

Today, I logged in and found that there are some updates. But, I don't see where the email notification of them is.

I see one email that says "Checking for packages with security vulnerabilities" and lists a few packages. Are those the updates? Is it bad that it lists a few?

Maybe the update that I just installed will address this...?

Where did you read that? The documentation says that new updates will generate an *alert*, which is in the web UI. There are no email notifications.

Ah. I misunderstood.

Then let me be the first to request email notifications for updates. Also, it would be nice for the updates to include a sentence or two that explains what they address. That way users can make a connection to specific updates if they notice something different happening later.
