What HBA should I use for a Supermicro X8DTU-F?

Hey there TrueNAS community.

I am looking to purchase a Supermicro X8DTU-F to use as a TrueNAS host for a NetApp DiskShelf DS2246. I've heard that TrueNAS can be picky with the HBA used to connect the two together, so I was wondering if anyone here might know a known-to-work HBA to plug into my X8DTU-F.

You have PCIe2*16 twice.
The LSI 9200 would seem about right.

Okay, and do I use a regular SFP cable to link the two devices together or is there another type of cable I need to use?
