What does this mean?

I've been getting a lot of this in the console message box.

What does it mean and whats going on? i don't fully understand Linux yet. should i be worried? lol

This has been happening since last week when i updated from 9.2 to 9.2.1

dude - its not Linux - its freebsd based.....

between 9.2 and 9.2.1 the moved up a samba version or two so thats whay its changed - as for the ecact cause i dont know sorry - whats on the 192.168.1.95 ip address? and apple product?

Looks like freenas is trying to read your laptop name but failing and or getting a null

Hmm okay i'll play around and see what is going on. my computer is a desktop not a laptop (doubt that makes a difference)

How can i output all the messages in the console to a text file? if i remb correctly from one of my courses i have to use this type of comand >> text.txt

Take a look at the last couple of posts in this thread for the solution. If that fixes it you might want to file a bug report, if one hasn't been filed already.
