SOLVED What does 'Self-deployment until RELEASE' mean ?

TrueNAS SCALE's self-deployability will remain available until release. Does it mean that its iso file will not be available for download and use by the home users as well as general public anymore once it has reached Release phase ?

That is just referring to its availability on iX hardware. We don't ship with it installed right now, has to be self installed . The ISO files will always stay available for you to download and install.

Thanks for that clarification....

The wording on that comparison page definitely needs to be modified to take a little of the "sting" out of that statement :) To the internal folks and the product manager, I'm sure it made sense at the time, but for end-users it really does sound like a time-limited offering (in not a good way)
