We have a client we recently had migrated from Synology to TrusNAS for file storage.
They are domain joined and I am using the same AD group to read the files. So, all settings and permissions are identical.
However, when I load a template from the shared location in Microsoft word by clicking "More Templates > Personal > 'Select Template' "
I get an issue saying "macro in this document have been disabled by your enterprise administrator for security reasons"
I have disabled macros, allowed network locations, added the network to policy locations etc.
Now, If I go to the folder manually and open the template, it works fine!
Furthermore, if I set the default personal templates location BACK to the old synology. I can access it via Microsoft word Personal templates location just fine. With no error.
It seems like a permission issue, but permissions are identical :/
