Weird folders appearing on TrueNAS Core

Hi,
I set up a server a while back with TrueNAS Core. For a while there were no issues but all of a sudden some weird empty folders started appearing. They seem to appear at random times. They will have the same names as files in the folder, but with some extra bits on the end. Everything else still works fine. My guess is that they're some weird remnant of snapshots. Has anyone experienced this before?

This seems to be a behavior pattern of Office for Mac - other users were able to fix this with updates to MacOS, Office, as well as ensuring that the user account used to map the folder had sufficient (inherited) permissions to delete the newly created temporary folders. I'd suggest exploring the Apple Support forums as well for additional guidance.
