Web UI hangs

Noob here - my Freenas instance has been humming along for a few years but the Web UI has now suddenly and inexplicably stopped working. Accessing the web address at http://192.168.1.20/ redirects http://192.168.1.20/ui and then I get spinning wheel. I don't even get a login page.

Shares (iscsi, nfs, smb) all still work fine. I can SSH and get to shell. I think nginx is still working fine but Django webui is failing for some reason. Where can I find the logs for me to troubleshoot this?

I am sure I can reset Freenas configuration to defaults but I'd prefer not to.

Suggestions/Thoughts?
