I upgraded / updated my FreeNAS 11.2.4 to 11.3, but decided to go back to a previous configuration. I uploaded a 11.2.4 config file from a while back, and now I can't get to the web gui.
After connecting a monitor etc, under the Console setup menu, there is a message which says that The web interface could not be accessed. Please check network configuration.
I selected option 1, then 2 for em1 then y to remove the current settings of this interface. After removing settings, it says that restarting the network failed
When I do ifconfig for both em0 and em1, there is no ip address for either, but there is a mac address for both

How do I fix this please.

Have you tried a reboot, selecting the 11.2.4 version from the boot menu - under Option 4?

Thank you, I didn't realise that you could select different versions, of which there were 4. I selected the one I wanted and bingo it booted up and gave me an ip address.

Thanks again
