Hi,
so I received my drives today. I ordered 5 WD Red 8 TB (WD80EFAX)
3 came obviously damaged (1 damaged SATA Port and two hits to the plastic where the SATA Port is). These 3 were drives without helium.
Then I got another one without helium which isnt damaged as I could see something.
And the last one was helium filled as I expected all drives to be.
I thought helium was better because it needs less power and its the HGST Technology WD bought recently. Also the helium one says manufactured september 2018. I'd prefer that over old drives. Is there a downside to using helium and non helium drives?
Should I return all the non helium drives and get all helium?
Dont know what to do here.
