Volumes not showing up nor are any disks in view disks

I have one disk installed on server and the first install went well and was very straight forward, thank you for that, but when I linked in I was unable to see any disks. So, I installed Ubuntu on the HDD to give it a clean format because the drive had originally been part of a RAID, then installed Free NAS once again. Still the same outcome. The drive is currently in an Dell Optiplex GX620 and this machine is what I'm wishing to use as my server. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
