VM stuck at "please wait" after the first setup

Im trying to setup a VM ubuntu 22.04.2 server on TN Scale. I go through the setup wizard and when i click on the display button nothing happens.

I have tried accessing it directly with the nas ip : port 5900 in browsers. chrome, firefox and edge. disabled popups. used incognito mode
I have tried both VNC and SPICE.
VNC wants to connect show an tlc error

I have tried setting CPU mode to custom, host and host pass. Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you end up resolving this? I am having the exact same issue moving from CORE to SCALE on both a VM that was migrated and a new VM.

Are you using spice or novnc?

There was no option for me, I believe it is spice only now?

Agreed - that is the issue - spice is not workable or stable
