VM slow performance

Hi, I have an Ubuntu VM running on my TrueNAS virtualization, but the performance is horrible. I can't understand why since I should have enough resources allocated. Can you please let me know what I should be looking at to improve performance?

I have set 2 virtual CPUs with 4 virtual cores and 2 threads. I have 8GB ram assigned to the VM.

I am answering my own question for anyone else that might be having the same issue. The SPICE visualization embedded into TrueNAS for me was the issue. If you want to get real performance, use SPICE viewer on your computer to connect to the VM using the display port assigned to unlock the full performance.
