Hast Du VT-d support und was man sonst so braucht? Man braucht da scheinbar nicht viel...

Lass ggf mal audio weg
Und was sagt er denn bei Details? Bitte immer vollständige Fehlermeldungen...

Guys I know I am in the German forum and I don't know Deutsch :P
But I would like to offer my help for those having issues with virtualbox in a jail...

If you can meet me halfway and translate to English I will be more than glad to help :)

You guys have been very appreciative of my original work before it got stolen by cyberjock.

Tell you what xcom. Effective immediately I will release no more ko releases for any future updates of FreeNAS. You are on your own to provide those. That okay with you? Great!

Oh come on guys, are you adults or what?

@Xcom - he didnt *steal* your guide, you are noted as the original author.
While the method of deleting the thread and putting it up with his Id again is mabye not the most diplomatic one, he did spend several days to improve it and make it more safe for the masses and i am thankful for that. I am very thankful to you as well because this very functionality is what i have been waiting for on FreeNas since i started looking at it; so thank you both.

@Cj - I am sure xcom spent a very long time on this as well and was very happy that he got it running. From what i read on the OP before it got deleted (and btw i was so interested that i google scratched it from the forum to try it) he was trying to redo it to your high standards as well. Its good that it was redone and rechecked b/c stability is an essential trait of a storage system but to be honest FreeNas itself had some issues in the 9.2.1 tree which i am sure are not to *your* standard either. So even if the methodology was not optimal it was a good thing.

Anyhow - you can either treat that the 'I virtualized FreeNas' way and reject any support on it and this will cost you a lot of ppl using FreeNas.
Or you can get a grip and try to do that together and make this a very nice feature of FreeNas which will bring a lot of people to it who need to run other services and dont want to or cannot run it in a jail.

And i suggest this part of the thread gets moved to OT. or deleted if you decide to stay pissed. (excuse the language)

While I agree, You don't know what really happen and that's the part I am sour about. But because he is a mod he has the power to do things such as deleted my post and modified the original guide. But basically he trash me on the original guide and when I complain about it he deleted my post and change it to what you see now.

I am thankful for it and I appreciate the thank you but there is a reason why I say what I say... His original intention was not to give me credit... He knows this.

I am letting it go now...

Hm looks like Cyberjock is not letting go.

So the question is whether you can provide a new set of required kernel modules if VBox or FreeNas changes?
Or provide a guide how to compile? Possibly on an external location since this is supposedly unwanted here?
