Hi, I am a completely new user-I work at a university and have recently had a NAS set up as data backup for my team. I have TRUENAS-MINI-3.0-XL+, version
TrueNAS-13.0-U5.3, at Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU C3758 @ 2.20GHz.
I am able to log into the share using 1 (and only 1) username, even 'tho I have all team members identically set up. I tried adding other users to this username's group, which did not solve the problem. I tried many different combinations, turning the password requirement, logging in different ways, adding a server name before the user, essentially everything I could find in the forums. The only thing I have not tried is changing the network security config in group policies, which I am not allowed to (university policy). The username that the share can be accessed through unfortunately belongs to a university network administrator, who claims that this peculiarity has nothing to do with any of the university's potential network-related security restrictions. The administrator was nice enough to let me use their username with a password they shared with my team, but if possible, I'd like to be able to access the drive with my own username.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them-the current settings for myself and this 1 user are attached (mine have a red-bound white box, the other user has a black-bound box).
Thank you
