Use FreeNAS for Windows Update Server?

Hi all

Can someone guide me on if FreeNAS can be used as a local Windows update service?

What I mean here is that if I can download Windows updates onto one PC, copy ity across to the Nas box and then have all PC's update their Windows from the local NAS only.

Someone posted a request for this before. I seem to remember there's an app but it's wasn't available on FreeBSD. You might try searching the Plugin Request thread, I think that's where I saw it. I'm sure at some point someone will figure out how to do it.

Oops so I did, forgot all about that one, though that was when I was using FreeNAS7, I have now updated to FreeNAS 8 :)

I am guessing nothing has changed then and that at this stage it cannot be done via FreeNAS 8?
