usb external HD

Hi all,
is there any way to use an external USB with Freenas?
I've plugged it in, but I don't see it under the storage menu. Am I supposed to run any command at all?
I'm running the latest version 8.0.3

Not for sharing, just for migrating files from it to your NAS. If it works for you, you should see it when you "Import" it From Storage -> Volumes -> Import Volume

Take the warnings in the link below seriously. NTFS on FreeBSD is not stable/reliable.
