Hi,

I have a question, I have a MB with only USB 3.0 ports on the back, no USB 2.0, I will install FreeNAS to an USB drive plugged to an internal USB 2.0 header, so that no an issue but, I just want to know if FreeNAS will recognise an USB 2.0 keyboard plugged into an USB 3.0 port. If not, there was an PS/2 port so I will be able to plug an PS/2 keyboard but I prefer an USB keyboard.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

If you run into an issue hooking up the keyboard then you could go into the BIOS and disable the USB 3.0 and force them into USB 2.0 only, well in many BIOS's that is possible.
