UPS error message

How can I get this error with UPS service off? It was still plugged in so I guess the Truenas is still typing to connect?

I got it working where its communicating, it lasted for a few hours, now Im getting data stale issue.

You are getting some odd messages, that is for sure. Submit a Bug Report.

I have a similar model, and this combination of settings has yielded the best results for me.

You can use my settings as a reference.

Here are some relevant settings in a friendly copy + paste format:

No Communication Warning Time
600

Host Sync
30

Auxiliary Parameters (ups.conf)
pollinterval = 30

Auxiliary Parameters (upsd.conf)
MAXAGE 25


You might have to restart the UPS service and/or unplug and re-plug the USB cable after saving these changes.

I'm curious if those settings fix it. It would be nice. Looking in Jira, there are a number of NUT reported issues, none exactly like the one reported however there is one posting that NUT is out of date (v2.7.4) and should be updated to v2.8.0. This might be part of the issue.

Thanks. I didnt try them yet as for some strange reason it stopped giving me the error. Ill keep you all posted but there is defiantly something going on with the UPS support in TN.
