Hello!
I am running FreeBSD 13.1-RELEASE-p7 n245428-4dfb91682c1 TrueNAS-13.0-U5.3, on a mini PC (4GB Ram, AMD A9-9420e RADEON R5). I know it is small but i use it only for file transfers (SFTP), transmission and Plex (with transcoding disabled) and it works fine. With one exception.
While in the LAN I can copy to and from TrueNas using SFTP with about 30MB/s (that's the usb drive attached speed), when I access the file via internet, on a 100mb connection, the upload is very slow ~3MB. Also Plex has the same limitation. Only in the WAN, on LAN all is fine, as i said. I also tried with plain FTP, thinking that the ssh encription might be the issue. FTP runs the same, aprox 3MB/s, while on LAN it works very fast.
Here's a speedtest result, here all looks fine, the speed is limited by the ISP:
The TrueNas device is connected to the main router via ethernet cable, which is fine, taking into consideration the LAN speeds. Upload speed seems to be fine ISP-wise, judging by the speedtest result.....
Not sure where to look...
If config output:
What could limit the upload speed of TrueNas in internet?
Thank you!
