Hi Peeps,

I've just upgraded from Bluefin to RC1 and the app's catalog receaves an error:

Failed to sync TRUENAS catalog: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truenas/charts.git' repository at '/mnt/somelocation/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master' destination: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truenas/charts.git' repository at '/mnt/somelocation/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master' destination: Cloning into '/mnt/somelocation/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master'... fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/truenas/charts.git/': Could not resolve host: github.com

Not had change to look into it yet, but I'm very early in getting into RC1. Does anyone else get this?

Thanks,

Just upgraded my home system, not seeing this issue. If this persists please report a bug.

first reboot: it persisted
Refresh Charts: resolved the errors
second reboot: did not persist

I have some mildly-complex networking, @ABain would you like me to report with logs?

edit: I lied, although the second reboot, apps available are displayed, I've just noticed the same errors that disappear are clicking "Refresh Charts" again. So this is persistant on boot.

Yes, raise a ticket with logs. I suspect this is a connectivity issue though, going to look at the github status and check if there is anything on that end which may have impacted this too.

This pretty clearly implicates DNS. Do you perhaps have your NAS host trying to pass DNS through an app on the nas?
nope, just a local DNS outside of truenas. It's got to be a connectivity issue during boot, I believe (not 100% atm) its because of my interface setup. I made changes which are unusual, to workaround traffic issues in kubernetes, so my main local interface is on a bridge.
