I upgraded my FreeNAS install from 9.2.1.9 to 9.3 tonight via the GUI. It took awhile, but it finally came back up. But then I noticed on the screen a strange error message "/var/log/debug.log- no space left on device." YIKES!

So I went to the website. All my ZFS pools (one a 6 disk RAIDZ2, the other a 2 disk RAID1) are saying there are at 100%, with some of the zvols reporting 112%! I saw the alert about the ZFS pools needing upgraded, so I did that thinking that would fix it. But it didn't. I tried resetting to factory condition, but now I can't import the pools!

What a mess! Any advice? I'm going to to try wiping the boot drive, reinstalling, and reimporting. I really hope my data is there- I haven't had a chance to set up backups yet.

So an update, wiping the boot drive, reinstalling, and reimporting the config didn't help- exact same problem.

Now I decided to try to move the system dataset- and that actually worked! I have debug logs and the console log back live again.

But now iSCSI won't start:

Ah okay there is an update available (see the second to last comment). iSCSI is back up and it appears the volumes are back. It just seems the storage view has some bugs in the calculations.

Guess this was just me talking to myself but maybe it will help somebody else.
