Upgrade help beginner

16 MB NON ECC RAM
3 x 5TB HGST

I want to upgrade to Corral. But I cannot get my bois to see none UEFI install of Freenas. When I install freenas to UEFI method . it freezes on
acp01 AMI ALASKA. halt boot. My bois does not appear to have legacy mode . It only sees UEFI devices. . So I have to manual select in bios the device(USB drive) to boot every time. Also, my main dataset is degraded. I can whipe out every thing and start over. but would like to keep current configuration. any guidance would be appreciated.

Huh? have you tried reading anything, corral is dead and no longer being developed. You can upgrade to 9.10.2-U3 if you want but that isn't that big of update. If your pool is degraded you need to stop everything and fix that.
