Hi,
Hello,
I would ask you, what would be the best procedure to upgrade from version 9.2.1.7 to version 9.3 of the Freenas .

Best Regards

Before anything else, make a backup of the data on the box.

The big gotcha with 9.2.x to 9.3 is iSCSI - if you aren't using it, then you can for the most part back up your data and upgrade with the downloadable package via the GUI.

If you're using iSCSI you have potential for downtime due to the target switch from istgt to CTL - see my post from a year ago here:

https://forums.freenas.org/index.ph...9-2-1-7-9-3-with-no-cd-how.30619/#post-198245

And the FreeNAS bug report:

(But seriously, back up your data first.)

Thank you for your quick answer
If I wanted to do a further upgrade from 9.3 to 9.10 I should perform the same steps ?
Best Regards

If I were in your shoes, I'd upgrade to 9.3, then to 9.10. Don't try to jump straight to 9.10 unless you want to do a fresh install of FreeNAS and then do a reconfigure from scratch. Of course, the data should be okay since it's on different disks and a simple import of the old zpool would be all that is needed if you are going to go with a fresh installation.
