The update notification in the Plex GUI is flawed. Don't worry about it.

Updater is not working now as they have moved to stable version - and site it was pulling from is no longer. Anyone able to help with updating the script to pull the correct version so this is still viable?

When running the script it shows this:

Downloading https://plex.tv/downloads?channel=plexpass
--2016-06-24 08:15:50-- https://plex.tv/downloads?channel=plexpass
Resolving plex.tv (plex.tv)... 52.17.109.161, 52.17.116.245, 52.19.111.38, ...
Connecting to plex.tv (plex.tv)|52.17.109.161|:443... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
2016-06-24 08:15:51 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Error downloading https://plex.tv/downloads?channel=plexpass

I have tried updating it to the current download page but that did not help.

========

UPDATE:
I actually just used the -l local flag and showed it where I downloaded the file with a force as well. Just thought I would get the ball rolling with asking for the update of the updater.sh

The script isn't going to work any more until it gets updated.

Might want to hold off on updating for a bit. There are a few things that were broken regarding clients and playback with this update. Head over to the plex forums for details.

This is how I update (followed instructions from this forum and the plex forums after creating the jail using the gui plugin)

Start shell from Freenas page
type 'jls' to obtain number of plex jail
type 'jexec jailnumber csh'
type './PMS_Updater.sh -u PlexPass_myusername -p PlexPass_mypassword -a -v'

This right here is how I have updated my PMS on 9.10 for a few months now, works great and is super easy. Thank you very much!
