That means it couldn't reach out to github.com. Check your DNS / default gateway and see if you have a valid outbound network connection...

Well github is being a snowflake the last couple of days.
(Seems it's functional now)
Try syncing catalogs again from Apps > Manage Catalogs > Refresh All, If you still have issues, then check what Kris said.

Thanks, Chris.
SSH to Truenas3, my Scale system. Dig github.com, get 140.82.112.4.
root@truenas3[~]# ping github.com
PING github.com (140.82.112.4) 56(84) bytes of data
From truenas3.alperin.lan (192.168.0.xx) icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable
Another Debian system connected to the same router has no trouble pinging github.com or its IPv4 address.
Same for my Truenas Core systems.

Turns out that my br0 address was the problem. When I created it to resolve some virtual machine issues, I gave it a new fixed IP. That worked, it seemed, for all my other issues, but created this one. Removed DHCP and IP from en0, the only bridge member, and gave that fixed IP address to br0. All works now.
