Updated FreeNAS to TrueNAS Core STABLE 12.0 release - Plex server not running

how many movies/tv episdoes/etc do you have? Have you considered just recreating your plex jail from scratch using a 12.2 jail and then importing your old metadata from your old jail before deleting it .. ? ..or just reacquire the metadata if you don't have too much content...

Fixed it - LOL

Having buried my head in the sand and staying on 11.3, I decided to spend some time digging.

Tried to run the Jail in shell to see if any errors.

iocage start plex

This gave the error:
PLEX devfs_ruleset 6 (may have been 5 or 7, cannot remember) does not exist

I changed the devfs_ruleset value in the Jail properties to 4.

As if by magic, Plex now works in 12.0
