Update to FreeNAS 11.0-U4 won't boot (SS)

After updating to 11.0-U4 and rebooting, my server is stuck at the following screen and will not proceed. I can't seem to do anything to break this. I had to boot back to U3 to get my server back online.

What now?

Dying boot media is my first guess here.

Dying boot media is my first guess here.

Using mirrored flash drives and they are both only a few months old. I was able to get the install to go by deleting the U4 boot volume, re-dowloading and re-installing. Worked flawlessly the 2nd time.
