New to this forum, will do a tl;dr background of this NAS.
Study association had old server that was about to die, they needed a new server. I built a new homeserver with Freenas on it. Old server decided to die (Windows corrupted) before I could migrate the data. Took the disks home, almost all data is still integer and I start uploading it to the new server from home. Realized the amount of pictures and files was hurting the upload performance (even though I had 100/100 internet). So I zipped the entirety of the disk into one .zip file. Uploaded it onto the server and then tried to unzip it.

Here comes the problem:
Whenever I try to unzip this archive it returns an error, I cannot find much about this error on the internet, I hope it isn't related to the fact that the archieve is ~450GB.
[root@freenas] ~# cd /mnt/Data/VanDerWaalsLeden
[root@freenas] /mnt/Data/VanDerWaalsLeden# unzip Physvdw.zip
Archive: Physvdw.zip
unzip: Invalid central directory signature

Can anyone help me? Would really appreciate, uploading the files unzipped is an nearly impossible idea if anyone wants to propose that, I have no proper way of uploading these files on-campus (as the disks are 3.5").

ps. I know sshing with root is unsafe but the server is only reachable via the VPN that my university provides, I will turn it off in the future when things are done.

There are a bunch of "Zip" utilties which vary in compatibility with each other. Even different versions of the same one can have problems. So make sure you are using the same type and version to unzip.

I'm not sure I would trust it with 450GB of files, either. My preference would be to temporarily connect the old drive to the new NAS and copy the files directly.
