I'm transferring all the data off my old UFS drive onto a newer, bigger ZFS volume. I've transferred everything I put on there, but now there's a .freenas and a .snap folder. Are these left over from when I had freenas installed to the HD, or are they something important to the live system? What should I do with them? I want to wipe the drive and reformat it as ZFS.

.freenas is created from a previous FreeNAS upgrade.. it can be safely deleted. .snap is not familiar to me.. probably created by some program you use or something.
