is there a place where i can download the Unifi docker image? to just plug into my truenas scale? i've never used docker before so creating one myself seems like it would be a daunting task.
the community catalogue truecharts has a unifi container.
Check out www.truecharts.org for information on how to add truecharts to your scale installation and basic guides for installing apps.

Are there any guides on how to set it up. i have the docker running but it will not adopt my AP. I tried to use the set inform command still nothing. i used the default set from the docker so i would assume all the nessacary ports are open but im not sure how to change or check the ports.

Both of you would need to file a support ticket with our staff directly, we, sadly enough, don't offer support on this forum...
Generally speaking Unifi on Kubernetes requires you to at least directly use set-inform, but "will not adopt my AP" is kindoff a non-descriptive issues, and that's precisely why we've a streamlined support process ;-)

I mean it’s pretty descriptive i use the set in form command on the UAP which should make it show up on the controller to allow for adoption to the controller within the docket but it doesn’t work.
