Hey Everyone,

Need some advice and help ...

My main pool the "Computer Core" is always coming back with errors about it being unhealthy ... I have run zpool status -v Computer\ Core over and over again and every time its different files that are coming back as bad ..

I have scrubbed the pool , smart tests and everything else I know of and everything always comes back fine .. Yet I still have error after error ..

So I am looking for advice and thoughts as to how to fix it instead of what I have been doing which is redownloading the file that comes back when I run the zpool status command ..

I am still new to TrueNas so not sure what else to try to do .. Thanks ..

Oooo god no I made sure they were not SMR ... so we are good there ... I wouldnt have used them if they were SMR I know better ...

The only thing I can think of that might be cause is .. I download everything to a "sort" folder on my computer once its download I then move it to the correct folder on the Truenas Box ... maybe something is happening in the move from Windows to TrueNas ... I am not sure ... but only thing that comes to mind ..

Anything showing up in dmesg with CAM status errors?

Have you checked smartctl for each of the disks (and are you running long tests)?

Does the zpool status show any read/write/checksum errors on any of the disks?

Are the corrupted files in snapshots or in the live filesystem? and is it changing (meaning those shown as corrupt disappear from the list and new ones appear?) or is it growing, meaning more files corrupt with the original ones remaining so?

How are you connecting the disks?

Is your NIC realtek?

Hey Sretalla,

1. I have run both the short and long test for Smart and no errors are ever found

2. There are no Read/Write/Checksum errors

3. I am not sure all I know is someone on the forums gave me that command to run to check for issues with files ..

4. SMB Share

5. It could be its a ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PRO AMD motherboard
