Version: FreeBSD freenas.local 11.2-STABLE FreeBSD 11.2-STABLE #0 r325575+3b66a34f3aa(HEAD): Wed Feb 27 14:31:54 EST 2019 root@nemesis.tn.ixsystems.com:/freenas-releng/freenas/_BE/objs/freenas-releng/freenas/_BE/os/sys/FreeNAS.amd64 amd64
user: root

Hello, I upgraded today my FreeNas System to the version 11.2 (see above). The upgrade was done over the browser interface. No error showed up while upgrading, the computer rebooted and I´m able to login in again over the browser interface.

I have two decryped zpools (2x Raid5) on the system for data and a ssd where FreeNas is running on.

Problem Description:
- root opens browser and login
- root clicks on 'Storage'
- root clicks on 'Pools' --> 2 zpools are shown locked
- root clicks on Pool and on Icon 'unlock'
- root enters passphrase for pool
- root clicks on button 'unlock'

Result: Error Message shows up (see picture)

Comment:
-The same error occurs when providing the 'Recovery Key'
-Error occurs as well for the other zpool

-its still possible to import the zpool over shell and have access to the data with:

geli attach -k /data/geli/veryprivate.key /dev/ada1p2
geli attach -k /data/geli/veryprivate.key /dev/ada2p2
geli attach -k /data/geli/veryprivate.key /dev/ada3p2
zpool import -R /mnt Raid5.5.45.TB

Here maybe some helpful shell outputs:

Does anybody has a solution for this Problem? Its not a really fuck up since I can mount the pools and save my data and set up the pools new. But maybe this is a upgrade bug?

Sorry, maybe it sounds stupid but helped me once on my 11.2 test-system: did you try to unlock the pools via the legacy web interface? Good luck! :)

Hi,
I've the same problem. in 11.2 I cannot see any installed plugins and if I pick my volume it just spins for ages.
sorry I'm not that hot on what to do to fix this. I've logged onto the legacy web interface. What do I do next to unlock the pool?
thanks
Paul

Do you have an encrypted pool?
