Unable to ping outside of the jail

My jail is unable to contact the outside world.
I have setup the jail as per instructions on the wiki and I am unable to ping anywhere outside of the freenas host.
I have reinstalled Freenas a couple of times and I am still unable to contact the outside world.
I can contact the jail from Freenas but not my computer. I can contact only freenas from the jail, unable to contact my default gateway.
I have set the timezone and added the default gateway and DNS settings in Freenas.
I am running 8.2 Release 64 Bit, have tried 32 bit, but this is no different.
It is running on a HyperV server, but as the Freenas host can ping the default gateway I don't think this is an issue.

Can anybody help?

You need to enable promiscuous mode in the HyperV network settings...

Yeah, it appears HyperV doesn't support Promiscuous mode, so I have switched to ESXi and it now all works as expected! Thanks for the pointer towards Promiscuous mode.
