Due an SSD failure, I had to "start from scratch" one of my TrueNas. It was running 12.0-U8.1 and it was mounted on my NAS1. I just have it mounted with:
mount -t nfs 192.168.0.22:/mnt/NASII/Shows /mnt/NAS/NASII/Shows
Once the system was fully back, I have shared the NASII main folder (same as before) and got the following message when attempting to mount:
[tcp] 192.168.0.22:/mnt/NASII/Shows: Permission denied
Well, first thing I thought it was some permission issues and changed on the UI the share to be fully permissive, inclusing allowing GUEST access (this service is not exposed to internet, only local network)
All attempts to mount have failed and, since I am not an expert, I started seeking help on countless forums and documentation.
One of them have pointed that I was trying to connect from a 12.0 to a 13.0 and it need to be both on the same version. Well I upgraded my NAS to 13.0 and both running on the same version now however I am still getting "permission denied" when trying to mount.
My Windows computer on the network are able to connect without any problem so I assume the sharing is working as expected.
On the sharing, I have tried NFS and SMB (not simultaneously) also wit no success.
Unfortunatelly, replacing all HD's (it was the suggestion on other forum) is not an option that it would cost me more than $6000 to add the 50TB I have available on my NASII.
Any guidance is appreciated.
Thank you so much.
