hi all.
I had this working and was trying to add another samba share for another user and really hosed everything up... I have subsequently deleted all samba shares and only have the home (which is not working)

Here is my user:

Here is the home acl for samba:

Here is my home group:

Here is me logging in from another host using password (instead of ssh) showing permissions:

I have to believe the problem is with smb credentials as the permissions look OK from the terminal

Well, there you go... When I was logging in before, windows was sending only username (and password?). Now it is passing my email address?!?
Earlier this week:

Today:

How did this happen, and more to the point: how can I fix it?

Generally, you'll want to add an explicit group entry (not group@) for the group you want to access the path in question.
Which ACL item should I change?

I deleted my email in windows credentials, so now it is no longer sending that, but it is "becomingdomain" TrueNAS instead of Phong and I have no idea where to set that

I hate windows. I rebooted my laptop and it seems to be working now
