After connecting my CyberPower VP1200EILCD UPS via USB to the TrueNAS, I get the following error consistently re-occurring:

Code:
Sep 21 16:42:23 freenas ugen3.4: <CPS VP1200ELCD> at usbus3
Sep 21 16:42:24 freenas interface uhid.1 already present in the KLD 'kernel'!
Sep 21 16:42:24 freenas linker_load_file: /boot/kernel/uhid.ko - unsupported file type
Sep 21 16:42:24 freenas interface wmt.1 already present in the KLD 'kernel'!
Sep 21 16:42:24 freenas linker_load_file: /boot/kernel/wmt.ko - unsupported file type
Sep 21 16:42:31 freenas ugen3.4: <CPS VP1200ELCD> at usbus3 (disconnected)

No matter which USB socket I use, 2.0 or 3.0, the outcome is the same.

Running TrueNAS-12.0-U5.1.

Thankyou

Seems maybe your install isn't healthy... consider a config save, reinstall, config restore and see if it's still happening.

Thanks but even with a fresh install, the same thing happens.

Might try connecting the UPS USB cable to another client and confirm the cable and communication is working to isolate the cable.

It works fine on my Windows PC. Could it just be unsupported?
