Hi,
i compiled table from drives specs, and i am bit confused which one to pick? The Wd Red pro has missing important values and has the lowest MTBR and even its the most expensive ... no idea why?

Is it possible to say in that case the price per TB is only selection criterion?

thank you!

Assuming the drives have roughly the same performance, there's no need to pick just one. In fact, mixing and matching can be a good strategy to minimize the risk that you end up accidentally picking a lemon and having multiple simultaneous failures.

As part of that strategy, when I can, I try to source HDDs from at least two suppliers. That way, the likelihood that I get all my drives from one bad batch is nearly eliminated.
