UFS resize

I have my company's FreeNAS on a VMWare ESXi. Since my FreeNAS is a VM i can enlarge my disks space, by doing that i also need to make the UFS partition grow.

I've been searching the net for about 2 days and all i can find is growfs but i just can't make it work. Isn't there anything like Gparted to do this? If you do you know a tutorial where i can see all i have to do instead of trying to use a thousand pages at once?

What about booting from an Ubuntu CD in the VM and using gparted?

Gparted looks at the File system as unknown :S

I had already tried with GParted Live CD.
