Pertinent info:
NAS model: Qnap TS-x53Be (which I believe is the same as TS-453Be)
RAM: 16gb
I have the QNAP PCIe expansion card below installed so that I can use an M.2 NVME Drive:
QNAP PCIe Card
I have the following 500gb M.2 NVME hard drive installed in the expansion card:
M.2 SSD
I have removed all 4 of my WD Red hard drives for the time being, so the only drive in the NAS is the M.2.
I manage to install TrueNAS fine. It detects the NVME SSD, and installation goes fine. I shut down the machine after the install is complete, and remove the usb stick. I boot the machine, and immediately go into the BIOS screen, where the ssd I installed TrueNAS to does not show up. The only items that show up is the default UEFI shell option, and the default QNAP option. Nowhere does my NVME card show up. I have gone into the UEFI shell, and it does not show up in any of the BLK# entries.
I have also tried installing to Legacy mode, and no luck there.
I have almost zero boot options within the BIOS screen. I have no advanced options to be able to select from. The only real thing it appears I can do is change the boot order.
Any advice or suggestions?
