Truenas VM Next cloud help

I am mildly a noob on networking but am mildly computer savy and quick to figure things out but have significantly struggled on setting up nextcloud on my truenas server. I have setup a VM Ubuntu docker that is running nginx proxy manager which i have routed my domain from cloudflare through opened ports in my router to nginx and subsequently set up SSL. My problem is when i click the link to open my external address for Nextcloud, it directs me back to the Truenas login. where am i going wrong.
