I have several different VLANs on my network: MAIN (192.168.10.1), CAMERAS (192.168.20.1), IOT (192.168.30.1), GUEST (192.168.100.1), TEST (192.168.111.1). I have recreated these on my TrueNAS box using the secondary NIC method (excluding GUEST & CAMERAS that don't need direct access to the nas).
MAIN: smb-share a, vms
IOT: plex jail
TEST: smb-share b, vms
My TN box is on the main lan so accessing it via smb or the web interface is easy here. What I can't figure out is how I access it from the other networks.
IOT is primarily only plex and I can feed the storage datasets through the jail.
For the TEST network I have several VMs that need to access NAS datasets as well as other clients within the network that need SMB access. How can I access the TN over this vlan? Is the web interface also available (not sure if I need to configure an IP for the vlan somewhere)?
Thanks for your help. I know this message sounds totally silly but I have really been racking my brain (which seems so small at the moment
